Hong Kong company limited by guarantee is mainly established for the purposes of enhancement of education / training (like association or society), religion, relief of poverty, environmental protection, trust and foundation, and betterment for the community.

With the changes of our Group policies, we cease to provide company setup / formation for "club", "chamber of commerce", organisations registered under Societies Ordinance or company with sensitive nature of activities.

The basic and minimum structure of a Hong Kong company limited by guarantee is having at least 2 founder members, 2 directors and 1 company secretary. The address of the registered office and secretary must be in Hong Kong. The company is obliged to file Annual Return annually with the audited accounts. The registration process of a company limited by guarantee takes about 28 days to complete.

With the changes of incorporation process, client is required to provide us the original Hong Kong Identity Card ("HKID") or other identification documents to us for processing / arrangement for certification in Hong Kong.

• holder of HKID is required to present original HKID to our office for inspection and for record
• holder of other identification documents (like passport, HKSAR permit etc..) is required to send to our office the original document, we will arrange for certification in Hong Kong (separate charge for the certification), it takes 1-2 working days to return the original documents to client by courier / DHL.
